SANIDERM: 1 application

*Your artist has applied your application of Saniderm for you. Leave it on for the first 2-3 days. Some pooling or drainage of fluid from the tattoo is normal, but if your bandage fills entirely or starts to leak from the seams, IT'S TIME TO TAKE OFF YOUR BANDAGE whether or not its has been a full 3 days.*

How to Remove Derm:

You are going to need lots of running water for this, so either jump in the shower or stand over the sink. Start by gently stretching the area of skin around the outside of the bandage close to the edge you are going to start peeling from. Pull the corner back SLOWLY in the direction of hair growth just enough for the water to be able to run underneath the bandage. Soak the area really well, being sure to get water hitting underneath the bandage. This will help with the removal. Avoid skin trauma by peeling the derm BACK, rather than pulling it UP from the skin. Gently peel the rest of the bandage off, wash the tattoo and the surrounding area with mild antibacterial hand soap and water, and pat dry with a paper towel.

If your artist suggests a second application of derm:

Your artist has applied your first application of Saniderm for you. Leave it on for the first 12-24 hours. Some pooling or drainage of fluid from the tattoo is normal, but if your bandage fills entirely or starts to leak from the seams, IT'S TIME TO TAKE OFF YOUR BANDAGE whether or not its has been the full 12-24 hours.

How to Apply Derm:

Once your skin is completely DRY you are ready to put on your second application. Cut bandage to appropriate size, peel off the side that exposes the STICKY SIDE FIRST. Press sticky side down onto skin, press down, and then peel off the paper backing, and you are left with the clear bandage. LEAVE THE SECOND APPLICATION ON FOR 2-3 DAYS to achieve the full benefits of the bandage. After 2-3 days of wearing the second application, repeat the removal step and proceed with regular after care.
